Connect your accounts and provision the required eBay Business Policies once. After you finish these steps you can jump straight into creating drafts.
1. Connect your accounts
Authorize DraftPilot to read your Dropbox listing photos and manage eBay listings in your production account.

2. Opt in to Business Policies
eBay needs Business Policies for payments, shipping, and returns before DraftPilot can post offers on your behalf outside of the standard eBay website.
3. Create your core policies
Use the recommended templates below or customize each policy in detail. DraftPilot will reuse these policies whenever it provisions draft listings.
Payment policy
Requires immediate payment from buyers and applies to all categories except motor vehicles.
Shipping policy
Recommended default uses USPS Ground Advantage (calculated) with a three-day handling window so Smart Shipping discounts stay available.
Return policy
Sets a 30-day return window with buyer-paid return shipping. Adjust the template if your catalog needs different terms.
4. Marketing defaults
Control default settings for Promoted Listings. These values are used when creating new ads for your listings.

5. Confirm your shipping location
eBay drafts require at least one inventory location. Add your warehouse address directly on eBay before returning to DraftPilot.
Next steps
Once everything above shows “Ready”, you can head back to the dashboard to start generating drafts.
